Sherita Barrett, Physician Credentialing/Payer Insurance

Sherita is a graduate of Oklahoma City University where she majored in Political Science. She is a problem solver who brings solutions to our team. She joined TEAM in 2018, with her main role consisting of working on our Insurance Contracting and Credentialing needs; however she is always willing to jump in and help when needed. She has a long history of administration and continues to excel in all she does. Sherita find joy in helping others, which has included 2 missions’ trips in recent years, she enjoys going to the movies and spending regular time with friends and family.

Trevor Nutt, CEO

Trevor is our Chief Executive Officer and founding member of TEAM Clinics. Trevor graduated from the University of Oklahoma as a driven leader. When the need for more healthcare services in the local schools was brought to Trevor years ago, he felt the need to create a better solution.  He co-founded TEAM Clinics with Kevin in 2017 to provide that solution. Trevor has an honest heart to help people and a determination to make a difference. In his downtime, he enjoys every season outdoors while hunting, traveling, and spending time with his wife and 5 children.

Randi Trudelle, Executive Assistant

Randi comes to TEAM Clinics with years of experience in both medical administration and software services.  Her professional career began supporting the Executive Staff at Hewlett Packard in Palo Alto, CA.  She continued in administrative roles over the years leading her to managing a medical office in San Diego, CA.  She came to TEAM Clinics in 2021 with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow our reach wherever it is needed.

Ryan Bupp, CTO

Ryan has been working in software development for over 20 years, producing tools that increase employee productivity.  He go this Associates degree from Berks Technical Institute and received his Bachelors degree from Strayer University in Database Technologies.  Ryan came to TEAM Clinics in 2021 with a passion to help kids and reach people.  His previous experience building database systems has given Ryan insight into improving our patient experience, provider accessibility and ultimately allow us to serve more people in more effective ways.  He enjoys solving problems and spending time with his wife and 2 children.

Joseph Ortiz, Application Developer

Joseph is a talented young developer with a drive to learn and create. His creativity and experience in UI help make TEAM more user friendly to directly serve our customers. Joseph joined TEAM Clinics in 2021.  He cares about people and values doing the right thing. In his free time, you’ll find him learning new code, making music and skateboarding.

Bre Morriset, Executive Assistant

Bre has a strong desire to help people and better the lives of those around her.  She has been assisting Dr. Penwell for over 7 years and is always on board for new ventures.  Bre joined TEAM Clinics at the very beginning in 2018.  She worked on the initial launch and continues to serve our clients in a variety of different ways today.  She is a detail oriented, get it done team player! Bre enjoys time with her family, doing puzzles and raising her 3 children.

Dr. Kevin Penwell, CMO

Kevin graduated from Oklahoma State University as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000.  His desire to help others pushed Kevin towards healthcare, specifically, family medicine.  After completing another year of specialized training in sports medicine and fast-paced practice in local and rural ERs, he began working in a couple local large-scale hospitals. It was at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma that he was asked to be the Urgent Care and Occupational Medical and Laboratory Director. During this time Kevin realized the great need for urgent cares in medicine and launched Immediate Care of Oklahoma in 2008.  Immediate Care has since grown to multiple locations across the OKC metro. Being in the Primary/Urgent Care space, Kevin knew there was a great need for better healthcare for school aged children and he wanted to do more. The collaboration of his experience and the mission of TEAM Clinics was a great match.  Kevin co-founded TEAM Clinics with Trevor in 2017 and serves as our Chief Medical Officer.  He enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and children.

Our Providers

Rick Brock, DO

Dr. Richard Brock began his commitment to improving the health of others over 20 years ago at Cameron University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree. Upon completing his BS studies, he went on to receive his Doctorate at Oklahoma State University of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Brock has spent many years serving the Norman, Oklahoma community while working in Primary care.  He is an enthusiastic family physician who enjoys working with others and is devoted to life-long learning in the ever-changing and challenging field of Urgent Care/Family Medicine.  Our patients enjoy their interactions with Dr. Brock and know they will get a sincere patient experience.  Dr. Brock is always willing to jump in and help when needed and is a great addition to the TEAM.

Carol Kennedy, APRN-CNP

Carol is committed to providing the highest standard of behavioral health treatment to the community. Carol began her career in nursing in 2000.  She graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from Kaplan University.  She has since expanded her knowledge into Behavioral Medicine and got her Post Masters as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Maryville University.  She spent many years as a Registered Nurse and House Supervisor at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital.  She faced high stress situations when patient loads were high, and she was able to diversify her skills to cover the needs of the hospital and it’s patients.  Carol is our Behavioral Medicine Specialist and is dedicated to helping our patients live better and learn to balance the world around them.  We are happy to have her part of our team and the value she brings to our patients.

Allison Duncan, APRN-CNP

Allison Duncan completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at East Central University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the Indiana State University in 2009.  She has been practicing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse since 2010. She has a variety of exposures and experience including Pain Management, Women’s Health, Urgent Care, Trauma Surgery, and Gastroenterology. She worked closely with Trauma patients, made hospital rounds, provided care in the emergency settings and clinics.  Allison enjoys being a Nurse Practitioner because her goal began with the desire to help people receive quality care.  She joined TEAM in 2021 with a passion to serve our community, she is dedicated and enjoys providing excellent healthcare to her patients.

Amy Hobson, APRN-CNP

Amy is a Norman, Oklahoma native. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Masters in Science and began her career as a Registered Nurse and later gained her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Amy has worked for large and small organizations with a passion to help people and better the patient care experience for over 12 years. Her sincere compassion for people is felt in every visit. She always takes the time to listen and care for their needs. She loves seeing patients across the lifespan, with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention. She joined TEAM Clinics to serve her community in a greater way and to provide care to children in our community who otherwise may not have been able to see a Provider. Amy enjoys her down days reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
